Just a little (link) love: GenCon Wednesday

It’s been a while since I’ve had a moment to pull together good links. I have so many that the tabs had to be closed; now they’re lost and gone forever, dreadful sorry, Clementine. Ok it’s not that bad but that’s the mood I’m in, having no energy to go and try to round up everything.

Many of my friends are at or traveling to GenCon now which is great: they have fun and tweet about it; I sit at home resting and enjoy their fun. Win win.

Due to scheduling problems (always a problem in September), I’ll do the same with FinCon. Sadly, unless and until FinCon is not in September, I suspect I’ll never be able to make it.

THINKING THINGS

There’s a lot of terrible things going on in Ferguson right now after the murder of Mike Brown, and I couldn’t muster the words or the strength to write them yet. Cloud does so.

I was really happy to hear that Vicky’s surgery experience was better than she was led to expect, but she may have to go back under the knife.  🙁

Having struggled with health issues for more than half my life, Nicole & Maggie’s I trust my body was a sensible perspective on finding your way through the woods of healthcare, being comfortable, and dealing with being broken.
