A sane response to that NYTimes article I hated that asserted “superheroes are only “universal” if they’re white. And male. And straight.” Keith Chow suggests “Or maybe we should simply refuse to believe whiteness is the default setting for superhero comics.” Yeah, how about that? How about not pretending that white Americans are the only ones that exist? Hm?
Alyssa Milano continues to advocate for breastfeeding. I’ll never understand why people seem to think they have a say in how we (safely) feed our children and act like breastfeeding isn’t normal.
