- The book fair has come to town and boy howdy do I love the book fair even if I don’t buy anything.
2. After multiple fails with the Waterloo brand, I realized we still have Spindrift water. Turns out I like it better when the alternatives are cherry yuck flavors from Waterloo! My sparkling water experiments are on hold until we get through everything we have. Plus side: I’m doing a little better with hydration given the push to drink up the existing waters.
I have to say, I admire FOGA’s ability to be calm with all the Delays & Waiting. Even if I know there are good reasons to expect a delay, like waiting for the IRS to review their errors with my amendment, I’m still very Impatient.
Read an Excerpt From Rose Szabo’s We All Fall Down. It’s good.

I’ll acknowledge that not everything about unions are good but the fact that after people died, Amazon’s still didn’t change their cell phone access rules, but now they’re facing a unionization effort and changed the rules makes me raise an eyebrow. Wages aren’t the only problem so changing the minimum wage would benefit more than just the union members but there are so many other quality of life issues at companies like Amazon that it seems like the blunt sledgehammer approach is the only way to get any change to happen:

I can’t remember if stevia works for you but, speaking of hydration, we have really enjoyed the True Lemon sticks- I mix one in a quart of water with a teaspoon of “Lite Salt” and it’s a fantastic rehydration drink that actually tastes good. The potassium/ sodium is optional but we’re often a bit low on salt, especially in hot weather. (Tragically, stevia gives me migraines but the kids loooove it.)

Ooh thanks for the suggestion! I think I can tolerate Stevia? I can’t recall. My system has recently decided to hate on the less common sugar substitutes but Stevia predates my venture into low-no sugar and I don’t recall any problems. I can give it a try at least.
Thanks for the mention. It helps that I do need other homes to close first so I have an incentive to wait currently. lol
Hope the IRS finishes with your stuff soon.
You’re welcome!
That’s true 🙂
