Advise me, do!

I’ve got a challenge for you, my sartorially gifted readers. I’d love some advice on how to build work appropriate outfits with this blazer. I know the pictures aren’t the best, but a basic description of the blazer is: Full notched collar. Single button front. Havana plaid. Half sleeves with three button cuffs. Front flap pockets. Contoured fit.
Bearing in mind that I’ve only got black pinstriped, regular black or gray trousers, knee-length black or white skirts, and I’d really rather not buy more clothes just because of this blazer, what sort of outfits would you suggest? Other than with a tank top and blue jeans, I’ve got that one down. š
I’d suggest
1. Blazer, white blouse, black pencil/A-line skirt or trouser
2. Blazer, black knit top, black skirt or trouser
3. Blazer, sleeveless sheath dress
3. Blazer, turtleneck (black or gray), skirt or trousers.
I’d go for more solid colors (instead of stripes or plaids) because your blazer already has a plaid.
Great jacket btw. Where did you get it?
Wanda’s suggestions seems pretty on the mark. My only suggestion is do not wear a low cut shirt like the picture on the right. I don’t care if you have a company of wedgie-bestowers, best not to wear something too provocative to the office.
At least, if you are, try a little scarf tie around the neck, ’50’s style. I remember when that was back in style in the ’90’s. Adorable.
~Wanda~ I knew I could count on you girls! The jacket came from Macy’s. They seemed to have rather decent sales.
~Mapgirl~ Oh, definitely! Even if I HAD a pair like that, I wouldn’t put them in the position of crawling out of my shirt no matter where I was, much less in the office. š BoyDucky was rather, taken aback shall we say? when I sent him the pictures.
