True story!
I went to a friend’s birthday party. This guy was latin American.
I walked up to him as he was talking to his mom, and said.
(drums)
Feliz Navidad
His mom almost spilled soda on me laughing.
I pretended like I told a joke, but he knew I messed up. So now it’s a rite of passage for memebers of his family to “feliz navidad” me at their birthday events. Maybe that’s why I no longer go?
~Bro~ Hah! That’s great. I love foreign-language stories … when they’re about someone ELSE š
What’s wrong with it?
~Moom~ Are you asking what’s wrong with Bro’s line?
Feliz Navidad means “Merry Christmas!”
He really wanted “Feliz Cumpleanos!” (Uh, I don’t know how to put a tilda over the n, but there is one.”
Oops! I didn’t notice it was a birthday party… or rather I forgot all about that after reading “Feliz Navidad”. Well I wouldn’t know how to say happy birthday in Spanish…
