For future reference: always reinforce Stitch-Witchery

February 13, 2008

So …. remember the split pants? I was so proud of myself for fixing up the pants, and everything, and then I got lazy. I was supposed to stitch up the split “seam” with needle and thread but didn’t, and then foolishly decided to wear the jeans today.

*sigh*

So I’ve got a little breeze going on here. Wish me well, blogger family, as I walk around with my shirt pulled waaay down low.

*eyeroll* This is so typical of your slightly scatterbrained resident ducky.

Edit: I had a little flashback to Sunday night, looking at a portable sewing kit. “Should I put this in my bag? Hm, nahhh … “

Last night, my brother dragged me to IHOP for free pancakes. He failed to mention that just before coming to get me he had transported a fish bowl that had sloshed water all over the passenger’s seat. So I got to spend an hour waiting for a table in a crowded restaurant lobby in wet pants.

It sounds like you are having an equally fun day.

I think we’ve all been there Msminducky – just a reminder you might want to sew the pants before wearing them on a really cold day!
