1. Our locks have been sticking something awful and it just occurred to me to put a drop of oil on the key and work it in there. Just one day later and they’re working perfectly again. Small win!
Helping folks: from @prisonculture.bsky.social Trusted friends in Minneapolis tell me that this fund is supporting many people but does not have enough money. If you can give, please do: https://chuffed.org/project/167138-emergency-rent-fund-support-workers-in-minnesota.

The Blood-and-Soil Nationalism That Killed Alex Pretti and Renee Good
Pretti and Good were labeled “domestic terrorists” of The Homeland—rhetoric employed by the administration to justify the state taking life, by associating the dead with national villainy.
Action: I’ve been calling our representatives to tell them very firmly that I want ICE and DHS abolished as a BARE MINIMUM.
To quote Kevin Kruse: Complete abolition of ICE, resignations of Bovino, Homan, Noem and Miller, unmasking of all agents, and prosecution by state authorities of the murderers.
Alex Pretti’s sister speaks out on her loss: “My brother is, and always will be, my hero”
Action: Alex, Renee Good, and all the other people who have been attacked, abducted, murdered by ICE deserve to be remembered as humans. Share those stories. Pretti is not in danger of being unnamed and forgotten, though this administration is working very hard to smear his name.
