1. Equal parenting: I take the hit the first day a kid’s sick because I roll with the initial punch more easily. PiC then takes sick time to take them the next day(s) once he’s had a bit of time to adjust.
2. This is me being hopeful: we’re meeting a potential dogsitter for Sera this weekend. They’re a really long haul away, so I’m really not looking forward to that exhausting back and forth but cross your fingers that she’s as good for Sera as I hope she can be?

Our very own Bethh is out and about and just completed her first camping trip on her time off! I’m so excited for her.

I don’t understand stories like this: Woman forced to spend ‘nonrefundable’ 2-week vacation with ex-boyfriend: Don’t ‘book vacations with bfs too far in advance’. If the trip is non-refundable and you’re not getting your money back, why would you go anyway and be miserable with an ex? The money’s gone regardless.

I genuinely do not think a lot of cis het men fully understand the power that them simply telling their friends ‘hey, that behaviour is not ok’ can wield.

Thanks for the shout-out! I’ve almost wrapped up my trip and next is finding out what I do at home when I’m not doing a job! Cleaning up from camping & road tripping will take some time of course!
That vacation story was just silly. Seems more like looking for attention than anything else!
