1. Diane Duane, author of the Young Wizards series that I started to read to JB briefly (and they are great, I’ve just been too tired to keep reading aloud), is in an unfortunate rent situation so they’re selling bundles of her ebooks at a discount.

2. I had a doggy playdate! Throwing a ball for her for almost 80 minutes was too much, though. It needs to be less than an hour.

1. My mini munch cucumber plant is growing five teeny cucumbers! This is delightful AND I’m again ever so grateful we don’t need me to grow any real amount of our food.
2. I petted strangers’ dogs at the county fair and they were all so cute.
Challenges this week: Getting everyone up and out the door on time.

1. I took a chance on a package of soft rolls for lunch sandwiches and it was perfect. They were soft as a cloud and squishy so it didn’t feel like I was getting 70% starch to the rest of the sandwich.
